Hillbilly-Musik trifft auf Rhythm‘n’Blues, und auch Rock‘n‘Roll, Country und Rockabilly sind auf der Zusammenstellung zu finden. Die Liner-Notes zu den 30 Tracks stammen vom Szene-DJ Mark Armstrong. Bekannte Künstler wie Tennessee Ernie, Chet Atkins, die Louvin Brothers, Bill Monroe, Brenda Lee oder Billy Ward finden sich ebenso wie weniger bekannte Interpreten wie z. B. Ron Holden and the Thunderbirds oder Chuck Blevins mit dem Jack Gale-Orchestra.
